INTERNSHIP LIFE

We constantly aim to provide engaging ways for our interns to get the most out of their year. The best thing about LifeHouse Leadership Academy, is the range of experiences on offer. From being behind the scenes during church events, to a LLA retreat in a beautiful location, road tripping on ministry and conferences and back in the classroom, our internship offers so much variety.

Even when in the classroom, our various teaching methods keep interns engaged. Our guests are experts in their field, whether it be on theology, leadership or learning about current world issues.

MINISTRY TRIPS

The LifeHouse Leadership Academy Internship includes two domestic, out-of-town ministry trips. We will plan these trips together, travel together, stay together, and minister together. These trips are all about serving another ministry and collaborating on a ministry project as a team.

LLA. RETREAT

Attached to one of these ministry trips will be the LLA. Retreat. Interns will spend time at a beautiful beachside location with our LifeHouse Leadership Academy leadership. This will be a great opportunity for interns to take time out and really engage with what God is doing in their lives through their Internship.

CONFERENCES & EVENTS

The LifeHouse Church calendar has many events throughout the year. LLA. interns will have the opportunity to be involved at a grass roots level and be part of providing a high level of excellence to these events. Where appropriate, interns will be involved from planning through to execution, working alongside the LifeHouse Church leadership team.

The LLA. Internship includes attending Hillsong Conference in July. Registration and accommodation will be provided and Interns will attend with LifeHouse Church leadership. Hillsong Conference is such an impacting experience which widens our generally limited view of church life and provides international quality leadership teaching. Spending quality time together and with leadership is always great fun and a highlight of conference.

Interns are required to volunteer at the ACC State Conference in October. This experience provides a behind the scenes look at a large scale event and where possible, interns are able to be involved in an area of interest. Volunteers have accommodation and food provided for the duration of their time volunteering.
