LHY Summer Camp 2022

This Year we are going to Scotts Head!

ARE YOU READY FOR SUMMER CAMP! Heres what you need to know.

WHERE IS IT: Scotts Head Youth Centre, 7 Banksia Cres, Scotts Head | Dropoff and Pick up will be at LifeHouse Church Coffs Harbour. (167 Orlando Street)

WHEN IS IT: Monday 17th January - Thurday 20th January 2022.  Please be at LifeHouse Coffs Harbour by 10AM on Monday, we will be approx 3pm Thursday

ACCOMMODATION: Youth will be sleeping in Cabins with mattress. Youth will need to bring own pillows, sheets and sleeping bag

WHAT TO BRING: Sleeping bag/blanket, sheet, pillow, clothes for camp, personal toiletries (toothpaste/brush, soap, sunscreen, insect repellent, deodorant, etc.) hat, swimmers (BE SUNSAFE, Wear a rashie or t-shirt especially for Stoney aqua park), water bottle, towels (beach & shower), notebook, pen & bible to take some sweet notes, floating items, skateboard, scooter, & surfboard. White Tee shirt for colour fight, Fees include travel, accommodation, meals, & entertainment. We will be stopping for Lunch both ways on the roadtrip. Please bring some extra $ for Maccas.

WHAT NOT TO BRING:  Drugs, Alcohol, Vapes. (Parents will be called to take you home.)

Electronics or expensive personal items (We will not take responsibility for any lost, damaged or stolen items) 

TRAVEL:  Students will travel by bus to and from the campsite &  and from Stony Aqua Water Park 

SUPERVISION: While swimming & surfing we have two trained bronze medallion lifeguards supervising. All leaders and volunteers have their working with children checks. Each age group has an allocated connect leader to look after them during the camp.

PARENTAL/GUARDIAN AGREEMENT:

By purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing to the following: that our LifeHouse Youth Summer Camp is designed to be a safe environment where young people are encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus. This means that anyone who is seen to be behaving in a manner that is contradictory to the culture that LifeHouse Youth stands for may be asked to leave. Summer camp is a place to have fun and a lot of our activities will be held outside; the application of sunscreen and water intake each day is up to the individual, however plenty of opportunities will be given by the leadership throughout the week.

Medical Treatment Consent:

I being parent/guardian of the said child understand that whilst every precaution will be taken to ensure

the good welfare and protection of my child, LifeHouse Youth, it’s staff and volunteers acting on behalf are hereby released from any

and all liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, damage or loss that may occur to the child & their property. In the case of an

emergency, I hereby give permission to the First Aid Staff to ensure proper treatment for my child. I understand that every effort will be

made to contact me before instituting such procedures. I agree to pay all such doctor, ambulance & hospital fees incurred on behalf of

my child. I have attached a list of any health information about my child that the First Aid Staff need to know.

Involvement Consent:

I being the parent/guardian of the said child hereby give my consent that my son/daughter may participate in any activities they choose

over the course of LifeHouse Youth Summer Camp 2022, whether it’s games, jumping castle, basketball, bowling, Stoney Aqua Park, Swimming, Surfing etc.

Photography & Video Consent:

I being the parent/guardian of the said child hereby give my consent for my son/daughter to be captured in both photographs and video

at LHY Summer Camp 2022. LifeHouseYouth reserves the right to use this material for promotional purposes. LHY Summer Camp 2022 may

be filmed and/or recorded by or on behalf of LifeHouse Youth for reproduction and/or resale. It is a condition of entry that each

audience waives any claim he or she might have in relation to inclusion of their likeness in such films or recordings.

Supervision Policy:

LHY Summer Camp 2022 will provide supervision at parent pick-up point at the venue. No students will be allowed to leave the venue until

they are picked up by a parent /guardian. It is an essential term of LHY Summer Camp 2022 registration that where parents will not for any

reason collect their child from the supervised parent pick-up point then LifeHouse Youth, it’s employees, servants and volunteers as

organisers of LHY Summer Camp 2022  take no responsibility for any student leaving the supervised site for whatever reason. I understand

and agree to be bound by this policy.
