As Christ followers, our ultimate MISSION is the one Jesus Christ gave to His disciples through all the ages – to… GO, in and by the full authority of Jesus, and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything He commanded us, KNOWING that He is always with us AS WE GO… to the very end of the age. (Matt 28:18-20 paraphrase) That great commission is built upon the great commandments –

This Sunday 2nd November is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Sometimes we can hear about something like this, we can know that the need is huge, yet we think, “I don’t even know where to start to pray for them.” That’s understandable, but thankfully, we can help with that. Our mission partner in the field, Open Doors, has provided us with a one-week prayer guide to help us focus our prayers for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world.
