As you go...

Work for the peace, prosperity

and God-given potential of the people in our communites.

LifeHouse Church is all about Jesus and the mission He has given His church. We know that the more we align our lives with Jesus, the more we will desire to outwork the mission He has given us. We express this through a commitment to disciple people in living with an "As You Go" faith that works for the peace and wellbeing of the communities God has placed us in.

Through the decades, the songs, the fashion and the quality of coffee has changed significantly. What hasn’t changed is the life transforming message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that during your time with us, you would experience just how good God is and that your life would be empowered to live out the God given purpose for which you are on the earth.

In Coffs Harbour we currently have 2 live services available, 10am, & 5pm. In Grafton, Moree, and Woolgoolga we have a 10am service and a 4pm service in Urunga. You can also join us online from 10am every Sunday here.

LifeHouse Church was launched in Coffs Harbour in 1987 by Founding Pastors, Steve & Bev Spence. Since then we have grown to meet in four locations including our Northern Beaches campus in Woolgoolga, our campus in Moree, our Grafton campus, and our weekly online service.

LifeHouse Care was started in 1996 and the first Op Shop, (previously the Bargain Centre) was opened. Since then we've grown to five and seven food pantry locations, all working for the peace and prosperity of the communities we are a part of.

In April 2011, LifeHouse Coffs Harbour moved into its current building on Orlando Street. And in April, 2017, The LifeHouse PlayHouse was built at the same location, creating a safe and engaging space for the families of the Coffs Coast to enjoy together.

In 2012, Lotty and Cie moved from Coffs Harbour to Moree to plant a LifeHouse campus there. Eight years later, in 2020, we moved into an iconic building in the community of Moree which was gifted to the church.

After 31 years of leading LifeHouse, Steve and Bev Spence “passed on the baton” of the Senior Leadership to Lotty and Cie, and that is the story so far. Essentially, it’s a story all about the faithfulness of God. As we look to the future, it’s God’s faithfulness that inspires us to continue following the plan and purposes He has for His church.

LifeHouse Church is a contemporary Christian church and is a part of the Australian Christian Churches, a movement of almost 1,100 churches and more than 250,000 Christians across Australia. For the ACC’s full constitution, history, leadership and statement of belief, please visit: www.acc.org.au

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives. We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues which is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live. We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively. We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
