Young Adults Missions Trip

We have a fantastic opportunity coming up really soon for a small group of LifeHouse young adults to visit our mission partners in Cambodia!

It’s all still in planning stages, but here’s what we’re looking at so far:

WHAT

An ‘advocacy trip’ to visit New Life Fellowship Church in Cambodia, spending time both in the capital, Phnom Penh and in the provinces at one or two of the church plants who we are supporting out there. 

WHY

Advocacy trips are a brilliant way to grow in knowledge and experience as you learn about another culture and engage with both church and community in another part of the world. It doesn’t stop there though! When you get back, you get to share all that you’ve learnt with the church at home and play a key part in advocacy and relational engagement with our Cambodian partners going forward!

As the global church, we’ve learnt so much in recent years about better ways to engage with the church in the ‘Global South’ (countries previously described as ‘developing nations’) – especially in relation to mission trips. WHEN

Monday 23 October to Wednesday 1 November (includes travel days)

COST

Approximately AU $4,000-$4,500 (includes flights, accommodation, in-country travel, insurance, visa, food, spending money, sample tourist activity costs, group admin costs, gift purchases for hosts, new friends etc)
